Our activities
The organization's activities are based on volunteerism and the involvement of women in leading the meetings, while maintaining a safe space for all participants. Various social activities are held, support groups for various ages, as well as a dedicated group for Haredi women. In addition, events are held around the cycle of the year, joint holiday and Shabbat meals, workshops and lectures.
Home Gatherings
The home setting creates a safe space to share what’s on our minds—self-acceptance, relationships, and everyday challenges.
These gatherings take place once a month in private homes, offering an intimate atmosphere and guided by experienced facilitators.
Support Groups
Every Bat Kol member has her own story, often marked by challenges and complexities. If you wish, you can join deeper, process-oriented group meetings in a therapeutic setting, facilitated by a professional.
The groups are formed and held according to need and demand.
Study Group
The study group is another opportunity to get to know one another, connect, and dive together into the depth of our Jewish–spiritual world. Each meeting introduces a new text and an open conversation, moving between themes such as Ma’aseh miBitachon by Rabbi Nachman, Elisha ben Abuyah, instinct and creativity, the essence of the High Holy Days, and more.
Volunteers’ Party
At least once a year, we make sure to treat our volunteers to a fun celebration. This is an opportunity to say thank you to everyone who makes our organization what it is, and to all those who dedicate their valuable time to doing good in the world.
Bat Kol Shabbat
Each year, the women of Bat Kol gather for a special Shabbat by the sea. The Shabbat combines a variety of activities with social connection between long-time members and new participants. Today, more than 100 women and their children take part in the Shabbat
Haredi Women’s Group
With an understanding that women from the Haredi (ultra-Orthodox) community often face unique challenges, Bat Kol provides a safe and supportive space especially for them. The group meets once a month and includes women from nearly every stream and Hasidic community.

Pride Parade
The Jerusalem Pride Parade is a unique event that brings together people from across the religious and LGBTQ+ spectrum. Throughout the march, we dance and sing to the sounds of Hasidic music—it’s impossible not to join in the joy. We are here to stay.
